MARRIAGE SEMINAR, held in February 2008, and led by internationally acclaimed speaker, Lisa McInnes-Smith. The seminar was fun and informative, and received high praise from those who attended.
In March, a seminar on ANXIETY was conducted by experienced Clinical Psychologist, Susan Tanner. Susan previously worked at Prince Henry Hospital as the Director of the Anxiety, Panic and Phobia Treatment Clinic. She has spoken at international conferences on the topic of stress management and is the co-author of 'Beating the Blues', a self-help book for depression.
In April, we conducted a seminar on DEPRESSION. This was in the form of a panel presentation which gave an holistic approach to managing depression and anxiety. The presenters were Susan Tanner (Clinical Psychologist); Dr Ann Camac (Staff Psychiatrist, St George Hospital); Geoff Howard (Counsellor); Brett Butterworth (Exercise Physiologist); and Dr Gary Franks (General Practitioner).
In June, a seminar on HOT TIPS FOR PARENTING was both amusing and informative. This was conducted by Ian Grant, a world-known speaker on Parenting, and provided fantastic information for both parents and grand-parents.
