We are believing in God to bring the masses, and we need our committed people to oversee the traffic jams that this will cause!
It is also important for a few other reasons:
- ULC visitors: it makes for a much more pleasant experience for them.
- Welcoming: friendly face to see, and gives ULC a good impression with our community. Someone from the Car Park team is the first face that people see from ULC when attending church. Be encouraging, be excited – this helps build anticipation for what’s to come in the service.
- Seeker friendly services or special events - it saves any confusion when car park attendants give directions.
- Added security
- SAFETY! especially at night, with people being dropped off and picked up, and the reduced visibility after the PM service.
- We want to encourage people to get to church early in anticipation of what the Lord is going to do in their lives and the lives of others.
We need responsible and committed volunteers to help serve in our Car Park Ministry for both the 10am service and also the 6:15pm service.
This will be on a fortnightly roster.
Requirements:
Time: to be ready and in position 20 minutes prior to commencement of service and to continue until 15 minutes after service has begun.
ie - 9:35am start for 10am service and finish at 10:15am
ie - 5:50pm start for 6:15 service and finish at 6:30pm
Dress: white shirt and black pants (jeans accepted)
