'Ushering and welcoming' is an important ministry, as we are the first contact that people have with the church. Our heart is to serve UrbanLife Church with open arms and open hands. We are Givers, Preparers, Ministers and Overseers. We want to grow together and in God. He has given us so much. He reached His hand out to the poor and needy, and this is what our ministry is about. We want people to feel welcomed, comfortable, loved, accepted and valued.

- Talking to people of all ages
- Looking people in the eye while talking

- Seating people in appropriate areas
- Determining appropriate seating for new people
- Following instructions
- Arriving half-an-hour before the service to set up in any way we can
- Making sure the service is running smoothly, having least distractions as possible
- Watching people coming and going from the service

- Having an open heart to people
- Being spiritually ready
- Arriving early
- Helping out in any way
