The purpose of drama is to provide an opportunity to bridge the gap between the everyday issues of life (ie the common struggles we all experience) and the Word of God.
The aim of UrbanLife Drama is to present 'slices of life' drama that will bring to light the issues of the heart, allowing the audience to think at a deeper level about their own circumstances.
The role of drama is not to give answers but to pose questions and then allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in people. It helps set the scene for the pastor to bring the Biblical perspective in the light of the issues raised.
If you have skills in acting, writing, directing or production, or if you are willing to learn, we would love you to be a part of the UrbanLife Drama Team. We meet together 7.15pm every Thursday night in the Ministry Centre (Unit 8).
