Caring through connection – ministry through fellowship.
The modern world has taught us to value autonomy and individualism. I am so glad that we, as Christ’s body, value dependence on God and connection through fellowship with each other. God never intended for us to do life alone, especially during difficult times. Difficult times are God’s opportunities for us to learn what a wonderful provider, comfort and refuge He is. Difficult times are also our opportunities to encourage and support one another, and experience fellowship as others support us.
Care occurs best in real friendships.
So check out the website to see where you could join a life group. There are great people throughout our church just waiting to meet you!
The UrbanLife Care Team functions as a “safety net” to care for those not yet connected or perhaps isolated by difficult circumstances. It often operates behind the scenes, mobilising resources across the church to minister to those in need.
If you are in a difficult place there are members of our church ready to listen and support.
Contact our church office on 95321611 to arrange a time for someone to visit.
There are opportunities available to serve in our hospitality team; visiting team and practical helps team.

“….A man can have no greater love than to lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I shall not call you servants any more, because a servant does not know his master’s business; I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have learned from My Father. You did not choose Me, no I chose you” (John 15:13-16).
