What have we been doing?
The missions’ team has been working quietly behind the scenes to commence its first permanent overseas project, which will be in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
We have employed a part-time person in Indonesia to co-ordinate our projects there, and we will soon have a rental property for us to use there. This project is initially scheduled to go for 12 months.
What are Yogyakarta's needs?
Yogyakarta is a university town with many people coming in to study then returning to their villages. Many become Christians. However many churches do not reach the people who permanently live in Yogyakarta, and consequently congregations have large turnovers. This is where we can help!
How can we help?
We are currently supporting Sam, a Member from our Sister Church in Indonesia, financially to complete Bible College in Singapore. He intends to return to plant a Church in Indonesia, in which we desire to continue to support him as much as we can. You can help by financially supporting URBANlife Church's Missions Ministry and Mission events that run throughout the year.
